About Me

Owner Megan O. Hunnicutt writes picture books and middle-grade books. As a teacher, her favorite part of putting a classroom together was book selection. Now she is letting you in on the secret by creating custom book bundles 

She always dreamed of owning a bookshop, so Hunni Hound is a dream and a passion project for her and her family. The Hunni Hound Team (Megan and her family) selects books they have read and would recommend. 

So what makes Megan a children's book expert? Not only has written articles and short stories for The Plaid Horse Magazine, Typishly, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Root and Star Magazine, and The Newnan Times-Herald, but has also attended Big Sur Children's Writing Workshop and The Southampton Children's Literature Conference. She was a teacher for 15 years and encouraged countless readers in that time.
